Almost 2 million Russians have self-imposed a ban on loans through Gosuslugi

The self-locking service for loans and borrowings, which started operating on the Gosuslugi portal on March 1, was used by 1.7 million people in two days. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
"The word "samozapret" topped the top queries for the robot Max. He has already given 3.4 million consultations on a voluntary ban on lending," the department's Telegram channel says.
As noted in the article, those who applied for self-locking have a special mark in their credit history. If there is one, banks and microfinance organizations must refuse to apply for a loan or loan.
According to the ministry, applications were most often submitted from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Moscow Region, the Krasnodar Territory, as well as the Sverdlovsk and Rostov regions.
Earlier, on February 9, Alexander Khaminsky, a lawyer and head of the Law Enforcement Center in Moscow and the Moscow Region, told Izvestia about the nuances of self-locking for issuing loans. He noted that when making installments, it is necessary to pay attention to which documents are signed. From a legal point of view, the installment service is a loan on some marketplaces, while on others it is not. That is, it all depends on the specific conditions of the site, and self-locking on loans may not work everywhere, he stressed.
