The budget of Transbaikalia has more than doubled since 2018

The budget of the Trans-Baikal Territory has increased by 81 billion rubles since 2018, from 59 to 140 billion rubles. This was reported by GTRK Chita on Monday, March 3.

"Transbaikalia is at the forefront of budget growth among the regions of the Far East. We are moving away from the label "subsidized region". Of the 140 billion rubles, we have almost 90 of our own revenues," said the head of the region, Alexander Osipov, quoted by IA ChitaMedia.

According to the governor, construction continues in Transbaikalia, production is expanding, and deposits are being launched. One third of the revenues to the regional budget are provided by the transport and logistics industry, which is actively developing.

Earlier it was reported that the Trans-Baikal Territory has become the leader among Russian regions in terms of housing and communal services concessions. The number of accidents at such facilities has decreased significantly.
