The Opera and Ballet Theater in Krasnoyarsk is awaiting major repairs. The authorities are currently looking for a contractor to create the project documentation, according to the Public Procurement portal.

The future contractor will have to create a model with an updated sound amplification system, orchestra pit and stage mechanisms. It is also planned to install new lighting and a video broadcasting system for performances inside the building.

The renovation project also involves updating the facade of the facility and sculptures, but while preserving the historical appearance of the theater. According to IA KrasnoyarskMedia, the initial contract price is 96.7 million rubles.
