The installation that protects roads from heavy machinery was made in Chelyabinsk

Specialists from the Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant have invented an installation that will allow heavy cranes to take to the roads without special permission. It was named the "transport cassette".

As he writes news agency with reference to the company's press service, the engineering center of ChMZ JSC has developed an additional option for cranes with a lifting capacity of 50-60 tons. This is necessary to place and secure the removable boom in order to transport it on a separate transport. Thus, thanks to this option, heavy vehicles gain freedom of movement on public roads.

Experts explain that it takes two people about an hour to bring the Chelyabinsk truck crane into a transport position. The entire dismantled structure is 25 tons. Prior to the introduction of the invention, it was necessary to obtain a special permit for heavy cranes to be allowed on roads. It was time-consuming and time-consuming. In addition, the passage of super-heavy vehicles had a negative impact on the roads.

The company is negotiating the supply of new products to one of the oil and gas companies. If the negotiations are successful, the improved cranes will be sent to the regions of the Far North.
