A criminal case has been opened in Perm over the beating of a child by his stepfather. This was reported on March 3 in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Perm Region.

"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Torture of a minor")," the Telegram channel says.

The man was detained. Currently, a petition is being prepared to the court for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention.

Passersby in Perm on March 2 we saved a boy who was beaten by his stepfather. The footage shows that the child ran out of his apartment in tears without outerwear. He told eyewitnesses that the man was drunk and beat him and his mother. The boy's parent caught up with him when he tried to hide in the entrance. Passersby rescued the child.
