Extreme frosts are expected in Taimyr (north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory) in the coming days. In the south of the region, the temperature may drop below -45 degrees, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Also, ice remains on major highways in the central and southern parts of the region, writes IA KrasnoyarskMedia. Drivers are asked to observe the speed limit and not to make dangerous maneuvers.
Earlier, Izvestia wrote that in the spring Russians abnormal weather is expected. In the next three months, it will be unstable: it will be warm, but short cold weather returns are also possible.
