The new Jetour X70 crossover has started arriving in car dealerships
The new mid-size crossover Jetour X70 has started arriving in car dealerships, the model has already appeared at some dealers in Moscow. This was reported on March 3 by the analytical agency Autostat.
Jetour X70 will occupy 5-10% of the brand's total sales, and the main competitors of the new product in the Russian market will be Haval M6, Chery Tiggo 7, Geely Atlas Pro and Haval Jolion, according to the head of retail sales of new cars Jetour Avtospeccenter Vnukovo Eduard Pliev.
X70's debut in Russia took place in mid-December last year. This is an earlier and more affordable version of the X70 Plus SUV, which has been offered in Russia since 2023. The length of the model is 4743 mm, the wheelbase is 2720 mm. A 1.5-liter engine with 147 hp is installed under the hood, which works with a six-speed "robot" with two clutches. The price starts from 2.65 million rubles, there is only one package.
On December 31, it was reported that the Jetour T2 crossover allowed to be equipped with a towing device, information about the permissible installation of the tow bar is included in the vehicle type approval funds (OTTS). The permissible weight of a towed trailer that is not equipped with its own braking system is 750 kg (1600 kg with a braking system).
On January 20, Jetour announced that the T2 crossover in the new flagship version of the Discovery will be priced in Russia from 4.45 million rubles excluding special offers. It differs in that, together with a two-liter 245-horsepower turbo engine, an 8-speed automatic works instead of a robot, as in other more affordable trim levels.
