The Moscow Longevity project has united more than 620 thousand residents of the capital of the older generation. It includes 141 centers and over 15,000 groups for sports, creativity and education, saidin his Telegram channel, the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, scientific research has shown the positive impact of the project on the quality of life of the participants, their physical and mental health. The participants themselves also talk about the benefits. 63% of them are sure that the city program helps to take care of their health, 54% have improved their emotional state, and 48% joined to gain new knowledge.

The project is constantly evolving: new directions and convenient digital services are being launched in the city, and centers are being opened within walking distance from home.

This year, Moscow Longevity turned seven years old. The first organizations to join the program were government institutions: schools, colleges, libraries, cultural centers, parks, and clinics. Over time, commercial and non-profit organizations were added. At the initial stage, there were 139 of them, and now there are 421 — an increase of almost 300%.
