A woman died as a result of a fire in the seaside town of Artyom.

"At night on March 3, 2025, a two-story house on Pugachev Passage Street in Artyom caught fire. A woman died as a result of the fire, and a man was hospitalized with burns," the Telegram channel said.

The department clarified that two minor children were able to leave the house on their own and were not injured. The issue of establishing custody of them by a close relative is being resolved.

The causes of the fire are being investigated, and the prosecutor's office has put an investigation into the incident under control. The fire has already been extinguished, its area was approximately 200 sq.m.

On March 2 in Nizhny Novgorod region during a fire two people died. According to preliminary data, the fire occurred due to a violation of the rules of operation of electrical equipment. The fire was extinguished on 50 square meters. m., 13 specialists and three pieces of equipment worked to eliminate it.
