The Russian Defense Ministry announced the launch of a Soyuz-2.1b rocket with a satellite from Plesetsk.

The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) successfully launched the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. This was announced on March 3 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"On Monday, March 3, at 01:22 Moscow time, from the State Test Cosmodrome of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (Plesetsk Cosmodrome) in the Arkhangelsk region, the combat crew of the space forces of the Aerospace Forces successfully launched the Soyuz-2.1b medium-class launch vehicle," cites TASS message from the agency.

It is specified that the launch vehicle was launched together with the spacecraft. The launch was carried out in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry.

Earlier, on February 5, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported about the launch of the Soyuz-2.1v launch vehicle by the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Plesetsk cosmodrome for work in the interests of the department.
