Several representatives of the Russian company AvtoVAZ plan to visit Ecuador to explore the possibility of resuming car sales in that country. This was stated to Izvestia by the ambassador of the Latin American state in In Moscow, Juan Fernando Holguin Flores.

Models from German, Korean, and Japanese manufacturers are most often chosen.

"In March, a group of AvtoVAZ representatives will arrive in Ecuador to explore the possibility of returning Lada cars to the Ecuadorian market, as it was a few years ago," the diplomat noted.

In 2012, AvtoVAZ announced plans to supply Lada models to three South American countries at once: Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia.
