Ecuador hopes to establish direct flights with Russia. This was stated to Izvestia by the ambassador of the Latin American state in In Moscow, Juan Fernando Holguin Flores.

"We hope that we will be able to establish direct flights. This would bring us great benefits in terms of exporting roses to Russia. But this is a long and complicated process," the diplomat stressed.

According to him, despite the difficulties with making payments and logistics, Russia has remained an important trading partner for Ecuador.
