In Moscow has a new helipad at the hospital on the territory of the Veresaev State Clinical Hospital. This was announced on Sunday, March 2, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.

The medical facility is located in the Dmitrovsky district. The site is fully operational 24/7, the mayor emphasized. A control room, a rack for weather equipment and a wind indicator, and special lighting equipment were equipped there, according to the city news agency "Moscow".

Sobyanin pointed out that the number of such sites at hospitals will gradually increase, according to Regnum News Agency.

Currently, there are five ambulance helicopters in the fleet of the Moscow Aviation Center. They can arrive anywhere in the city in an average of 10-15 minutes. Specialists begin treating patients right in the air.
