The Dome of Donbass disrupted 157 attacks by Ukrainian UAVs over Donetsk and Makeyevka

The Domol Donbas air defense and electronic warfare system thwarted 157 terrorist attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on civilians and the infrastructure of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on March 2 by the regional defense headquarters.

It is noted that over the past week, the Dome of Donbass has detected and intercepted 157 drones of the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU) over Donetsk and Makeyevka.

A drone armed with an improvised explosive device was intercepted near one of the recreation parks in Makeyevka. In addition, an attack UAV was suppressed in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk, which was aimed at one of the schools.

According to the department, explosives experts used special technical means to neutralize the UAV and destroyed explosive objects with overhead charges on the spot. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of specialists and the timely reaction of citizens, the crash sites of drones were quickly identified. There were no civilian casualties or damage to infrastructure.
