A wanted man was deported from Egypt to Russia for extortion after kidnapping

Interpol officials have deported from Egypt to Russia a wanted Russian man who was accused of kidnapping and extortion. This was announced on March 2 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the attacker together with an accomplice, threatening with firearms, abducted the director of one of the commercial organizations. They demanded a ransom for his release. As a result, the kidnappers received more than 30 million rubles, they released the businessman and fled.

The department added that the accomplice was detained and convicted. However, the suspect left the country and was put on the international wanted list.

Earlier, on February 7, it was reported that Turkey is extraditing to Moscow Olim Makhmudov, accused of murder and robbery. It was clarified that in 2008, he and his accomplices attacked a man, stealing his car, mobile phone and money worth about 75 thousand rubles, after which he fled the scene of the crime.
