The investigative authorities of the Moscow region have opened a criminal case into the shooting at a shopping mall in the city of Mytishchi. This was announced on March 2 by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.

"The investigative authorities of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region have opened a criminal case on hooliganism in one of the shopping centers of the city of Mytishchi (part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the agency said in a statement.

Investigative actions are currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

A building security guard told Izvestia that the suspect came to the shopping center with a courier bag a week ago. However, he was not allowed into the building then. According to him, today he again attempted to enter the shopping center in order to "probably take revenge."

Earlier in the day, eyewitnesses reported about the shooting at a shopping mall in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow region. As a result of the incident, people were injured three people. It later became known that the cause of the shooting was conflictbetween a visitor and a security guard. It was clarified that the security staff did not let the suspect into the building of the shopping center.
