Three people were injured in a shooting at a shopping mall in Mytishchi.

Three people were injured in a shooting at the Krasny Kit shopping center in the city of Mytishchi, police officers detained the offender. This was announced on March 2 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Moscow region in the Telegram channel.

"The offender has been detained. As a result of the incident, three citizens were injured," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the police department received a message that the sounds of gunfire were heard in one of the shopping centers. After the report, the police immediately arrived at the scene.

At the moment, police officers are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.

Izvestia has footage showing that the shooter is in the security room at the mall. The man has abrasions on his face. He's sitting in handcuffs.

Earlier in the day, eyewitnesses reported about the shooting at a shopping mall in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow region.

The footage shows that visitors are being evacuated from the building. According to one of the eyewitnesses, the shooting was opened by a man who had a conflict with the security guards of the shopping center.
