In Perm, a half-naked child ran out into the street, fleeing from his stepfather

In Perm, a child in pajamas ran outside to escape, presumably from his stepfather. Footage of the incident on March 2 is published by Izvestia.

The footage shows that the child ran out of his apartment in tears without warm clothes. He told eyewitnesses that his father was drunk and beat him and his mother. He asked passersby to call the police. Then the child tried to hide in the next doorway, but the man overtook him.

The boy began to ask loudly for help. At that moment, he was rescued by passers-by who brought the child into the entrance.

According to local media, the man also tried to drown the child in the bathroom.

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region reported in the Telegram channel that a procedural check was organized on the grounds of a crime under paragraph 2 of Part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code ("Torture of a minor").

"It is reported on social media that in the territory of the Sverdlovsky district of Perm, a stepfather uses violence against his young stepson. <..."Currently, investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia are examining the scene of the incident, interviewing eyewitnesses, and ordering a forensic medical examination," the agency said in a statement.
