The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the destruction of an Armed Forces of Ukraine armored fighting vehicle in the Kursk border region

The Russian military destroyed an armored combat vehicle of the Armed Forces Ukraine (Ukrainian Armed Forces) in the Kursk region. Footage of combat work on Sunday, March 2, was shown by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that this happened at night.

"The reconnaissance unit of the North group of forces using a UAV at night revealed the movement of an armored combat vehicle with AFU personnel in the border area of the Kursk region," the agency said.

After the intelligence analysis was carried out, the Russian Armed Forces used the Lancet barrage ammunition to hit the target. The footage shows an accurate hit on the militants' equipment.

Earlier in the day, the Rosgvardiya special forces eliminated the D-30 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. It is specified that after the discovery of the artillery piece, it was disabled by the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Russian Guard.
