The Investigative Committee (IC) has identified one of the attackers at a polling station in Abkhazia. This was reported on March 1 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"One of the members of the criminal group that attacked the polling station and opened fire with automatic weapons at the Abkhaz law enforcement officers has been identified as Nurik Smyr," said Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
