A criminal case has been opened in St. Petersburg over the discovery of human remains in suitcases. This was announced on March 1 by the press service of the GSU IC of Russia for the city in the Telegram channel.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"). According to the investigation, on March 1, two suitcases were found on the slope leading from Slavyanskaya Street to the Neva River. It has been established that there are human remains in the suitcases. A complex of forensic examinations, including medical examinations, has been appointed to determine the cause of death.

The footage shows two people wheeling suitcases along a deserted street at night.

As reported by 78.ru with reference to the source, the remains belong to a man. It is noted that the suitcases were discovered by a St. Petersburg man who was training and swimming nearby.
