- The rotation route of the IAEA observers at the NPP passed through the territory of the Russian Federation for the first time

"For more than two years, the IAEA experts have been working at the sites of the NPP. The first visit was on September 1, 2022, led by the agency's Director General, Mr. Grossi," said Yuri Chernichuk, Director of ZAES.
It is specified that their tasks are to monitor and assess the safety of the nuclear power plant, both operational and physical.
The director recalled that the rotation was supposed to take place a month ago, but it had to be postponed twice due to provocations by the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU).
Earlier, on February 18, the IAEA expressed the hope that the rotation of experts at the NPP will take place in the coming days. The planned rotation of experts was supposed to take place on February 5, but was postponed to February 12. It didn't take place that day either.
Australian political scientist Mark Lowe, in turn, called the repeated disruptions of the rotation of IAEA experts an attempt by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky divert attention from the Russian leader's phone conversation Vladimir Putin and his colleagues from USA Donald Trump.
