Air defense forces destroyed four Ukrainian drones over Belgorod region

The Air Defense Forces destroyed four drones of the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU) over the territory of the Belgorod region. This was announced on March 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the territory of the Belgorod region," the ministry said in a statement on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the Ukrainian drones were hit between 13:00 and 17:00 Moscow time.

Earlier in the day, the air defense forces eliminated during the night href="https://iz.ru/1847124/2025-03-01/sily-pvo-za-noch-unichtozhili-48-ukrainskikh-bpla-nad-regionami-rossii " target="_blank">48 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions. It was clarified that 21 drones were shot down in the sky over the Tver region, 11 over the Republic of Crimea, five UAVs over the Bryansk region, three each over the territories of the Belgorod and Rostov regions, two each over the Smolensk and Lipetsk regions, and one more over the Kursk region.
