Germany must immediately approve the allocation Ukraine additional €3 billion. This was announced on March 1 by German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok.

"We need to increase Germany's support for Ukraine again. And immediately. Therefore, I appeal to all democratic parties represented in the Bundestag with a request to unblock the blocked €3 billion in aid to Ukraine," she said during a briefing.Burbock added that Europeans must defend their own interests, values, and perceptions of security for people in Europe.

On the same day, the chairman of the European Parliament's defense Committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, said that Europe must strengthen its independence from USA. She also added that the investment bank of Europe could issue bonds so that she could invest in the extraction of rare earth metals and thus help Ukraine.
