The presidential elections in Abkhazia were recognized as having taken place

The second round of the presidential elections in Abkhazia was recognized as having taken place. This was announced on Saturday, March 1, by the chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the republic Dmitry Marshan.

It is specified that, according to data at 15:00 (local time, coincides with Moscow time), 43% — 62,842 people voted, Sputnik Abkhazia clarifies in Telegram.

The head of the Central Election Commission also said that about 120 international observers from Russia, Europe and Latin America are monitoring the elections.
