In Russia, 83 veterans of the civil service studied under the "Time of Heroes" program.

"According to the results of the selection, 83 participants entered the first stream of the program, they started training on May 27, 2024. The key selection criteria were military merit during the military training, managerial experience and potential," the message says.

It is noted that during the implementation of the program, 27 students of the first stream received new appointments.

On January 24, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the Time of Heroes program effective and will continue.

The launch of the "Time of Heroes" program was announced by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in his address to the Federal Assembly on February 29, 2024. The Russian leader clarified that participants in the special operation will be given the opportunity to enroll in leading universities and receive a civilian specialty as a matter of priority.

The personnel program "Time of Heroes" is aimed at training managers to work in state and municipal authorities from participants in a special operation on Ukraine.
