The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov called the condition of the Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky is not very good on the surface.

"It doesn't look very visual, but you have to ask him," Peskov told VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin when asked if Zelensky felt cornered. The fragment was published in his Telegram channel.

It is noted that the comment was recorded on February 26, before the altercation between Zelensky and the president USA Donald Trump at the White House on Friday, February 28.

During the meeting between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office on February 28, a verbal altercation took place. The US president blamed the Ukrainian leader in a disrespectful attitude towards Washington. According to him, the head of the Kiev regime is "playing with the Third World War" and the lives of millions of people. US Vice Prime Minister Jay D. Vance, who was present at the talks, also criticized Zelensky. After the skirmish, the Ukrainian leader left the White House ahead of schedule.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in turn, called on the Ukrainian leader to apologize for what he had turned into himself. href="https://iz.ru/1847103/2025-03-01/rubio-nazval-vstrecu-trampa-i-zelenskogo-v-belom-dome-slovom-fiasko"> meeting in the fiasco. He noted that Zelensky does not really want a peaceful settlement of the conflict. According to him, the head of the Kiev regime had no need to go to the White House and show hostility.
