In Yakutia, a criminal case was opened into the poisoning of 80 people in a Yakutsk rehabilitation center. This was announced on Saturday, March 1, by the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the region.

The criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet security requirements").

"Currently, three adults are in the infectious diseases department of the hospital with moderate severity of the disease, the remaining cases are mild, and patients are receiving medical care," the department said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that an investigation is currently underway.

It was clarified that at the moment a set of anti-epidemic and preventive measures is being carried out jointly with the staff of Rospotrebnadzor.
