T-34 tank to take part in Victory Day parade on Red Square

It is noted that the armored vehicle began to be mass-produced in the Urals. In Nizhny Tagil, up to 30 combat vehicles rolled off the assembly line every day, no country could surpass this figure.
"On December 18, 1941, the first T-34 tank was assembled. And the tank conveyor started working rhythmically already in February, and this was the key to success," said Svetlana Neymysheva, director of the Uralvagonzavod exhibition complex.
It is indicated that the tank has an engine of 500 hp and a small weight for such equipment — up to 32 tons, which allowed it to reach speeds of 55 km / h. Also, rolled armor plates at an angle provided reliable protection from enemy shells.
"It was the successful combination of its combat properties, such as firepower, armor protection and mobility, that provided it with such high popularity and success," said reserve colonel and graduate of the Marshal Malinovsky Military Academy of Armored Forces Rais Gareev.
In addition, in the museum complex in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, you can see the T-34 in the cross section. Inside, the tank consists of two parts: the combat one is located under the turret, where the loader and commander are located, and in front there was a driver, a radio operator and a gunner. Even with limited space, the crews were able to successfully cope with control and combat missions at the same time.
Until the beginning of the 21st century, the tank was in service with dozens of states. At the moment, tank builders continue the traditions of their ancestors — on the T-90M "Breakthrough" conveyor. The full specifications of this tank are still classified. It is the "Breakthrough" that is crushing the Ukrainian positions in the special military operation zone.
On January 15, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced that the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory military units of 19 friendly states have been invited, 10 of them have already confirmed their participation.
