Ukrainian prisoner of war Nikolai Zlepko said that he avoided mobilization for six months until he was caught by employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of military enlistment offices in Ukraine), after which he was offered to postpone the appeal for $10 thousand. The video was distributed by the Russian Defense Ministry on March 1.

"Went to work in October. A shopping mall car came around the corner from behind. They asked for my last name, first name, patronymic, searched the database, and said that I was an evader. "... They tell me, let's go to the military enlistment office, just formally sign up and that's it. So I got into a car under this pretext, they brought me to the military enlistment office and did not let me out again," Zlepko shared.

The man said that at the shopping mall he was offered a postponement from service worth $ 10 thousand. Zlepko declined this opportunity. He explained that in Ukraine, only ordinary people are being forcibly mobilized, and not wealthy people who have such money.

In addition, Zlepko said that after that he was sent to a training unit in the Chernihiv region, where he allegedly received training.

"No one taught anything there," the Ukrainian prisoner of war emphasized.

The man recommended that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters surrender, just like him, in order to stay alive. He noted that he was treated kindly in captivity: they provided medical care, fed, watered, and even gave him a smoke.
