The military of the Russian North group of forces eliminated up to 90 militants and an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) of the Armed Forces as a result of the strikes Ukraine (Ukrainian Armed Forces) in the Kharkiv direction. This was announced on March 1 by Yaroslav Yakimkin, head of the group's press center.

"In the Kharkiv direction, units of the group defeated formations of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Volchansk and Liptsy, Kharkiv region," he said in an interview with TASS.

As a result of the strike, Yakimkin continued, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 90 soldiers, one infantry fighting vehicle, six vehicles, as well as an artillery piece and an ammunition depot.

On February 27, soldiers of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces discovered and an APU ATV was destroyed in a forest plantation in the Kharkiv region.
