The Su-34 crew destroyed the personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region

The crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) struck at the personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU) in the Kursk region. This was announced on March 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the Russian military struck aircraft bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC) at the detected targets.

After the strike, the scouts confirmed the destruction of all the targets and transmitted this information to the Su-34 crew. The pilots performed a maneuver and returned safely to the departure area.

For the first time since the Great Patriotic War, the unit was named after the places of its battles.

On February 28, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the crew of the Su-35S multirole fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces completed a combat mission to escort fighter-bombers in the border areas of the Kursk region. It is specified that the military equipment took off from the home airfield and bombed the stronghold and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
