Russian fighter Sergey Sergeev told Izvestia about his impressions of the fight with Cuban Jorge Manuel Soto at the REN TV Fight Club tournament.

According to the athlete, he knew that the fight with the Cuban boxer would be difficult. The Russian said that Soto is "an experienced guy." He also canceled a good exchange of blows with his opponent during the fight.

"It was hard. <...>I was flirting a little. In the plan, I wanted to cut myself. <..."The exchange was good and it was clear that I had shaken him up a little for a couple of moments, it was just felt," said the Russian fighter.

Sergeyev also thanked Mari El for the warm welcome. In addition, he expressed a desire to communicate with his opponent in Spanish, and also called Cuba a brotherly country.

"It was clear that the guy respected me, and I respected him. Cuba is our brotherly country. Everyone was treated with respect. They hit me in the face and shook my hands," the athlete concluded.
