In Murmansk, the police are conducting an investigation into fraud, as a result of which a local resident was injured. The woman lost 1.5 million rubles.

According to the pensioner, at first the scammers gained access to her data under the pretext of applying for a meter replacement. Then she received calls from strangers who introduced themselves as specialists of the Gosuslugi portal and bank employees. They recommended transferring all savings to a "secure account." The victim transferred 1.5 million rubles to an outside account. She spent another 70 thousand rubles on obtaining fake insurance.

A criminal case has been opened into fraud.

A 65-year-old woman in Khabarovsk lost 2.5 million rubles due to fraud. First, she received a message allegedly from her former boss about the leak of personal data. Then the victim was contacted by a "special services officer" who persuaded her to transfer funds to an outside account.
