In February 2025, 5.6 million people visited parks in the Moscow region. This is reported by the online publication "Moscow region today" with reference to the Ministry of Landscaping of the region.
Park attendance increased by 14.3% compared to the same period in 2024. The park "Pekhorka" in Balashikha became the most visited. The Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Dolgoprudny and the Central Park in Pushkinskoye are also among the popular ones.
In total, there are 209 parks and forest parks in the region. 40 outdoor ice rinks are available for visitors. There are also 184 ski trails, their length exceeds 900 km.
Moscow Zaryadye Park in 2024 was visited by more than 12.5 million people. Among them are residents of the capital, tourists from different regions of Russia and representatives of other countries, including China, Serbia, Turkey, India, Ethiopia and Thailand.
