In China, it was reported about the found fuel reserves for 60 thousand years.

Thorium reserves in the Bayan Ob mining area in China may be enough to provide the country with fuel for 60 thousand years. This was reported on February 28 by South China Morning Post (SCMP).
They noted that thorium can radically change energy production and put an end to "global dependence on fossil fuels."
The mastered mining complex in Bayan–Obo can produce 1 million tons of this radioactive metal, the newspaper writes.
"For more than a century, countries have been fighting wars over fossil fuels. It turns out that an endless source of energy is right under our feet," the SCMP quoted a geologist from Beijing as saying.
The Global Times newspaper reported on January 3 that the world's largest pumped storage hydroelectric power plant (HPP) Fengning has begun full operation in the city of Chengdu in northern China. It was clarified that the PSPP is the leading technology for storing renewable energy and plays a key role in promoting the country's transition to green energy.
