The President USA Donald Trump interrupted British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's speech on bilateral relations at their joint press conference. Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of Southeastern Norway, drew attention to this on February 28.

"Starmer continues to talk about the most important relationship in history, but Trump interrupts him," he wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

In the video posted by the professor, the American leader can be heard interrupting Starmer's speech, saying "That's enough, thank you." In this regard, Diesen stressed that Britain is mistaken, considering its relations with the United States to be special.

During a meeting in the Oval Office on February 27, Starmer handed Trump a letter from King Charles III href="https://iz.ru/1846394/2025-02-28/starmer-peredal-trampu-priglashenie-posetit-velikobritaniiu-ot-korolia-karla-iii " target="_blank">with an invitation to pay a second state visit to the United Kingdom. TV Channel Sky News clarified that Trump accepted the invitation.
