Two criminal cases were opened after an accident involving a bus in St. Petersburg


A criminal case was opened after a bus collided with seven cars and killed a woman in St. Petersburg. This was reported on February 28 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the city.
"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet security requirements")," the agency's Telegram channel says.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region also stated that the police investigation had opened a case under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles").

According to the Interior Ministry, the driver of bus No. 147 lost control, crashed into seven cars and killed a woman.
