A military expert declared Sweden's inability to fight Russia without the United States

Sweden or other Western countries will not fight against Russia without help from outside USA. Thus, on February 28, the head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, military expert Andrei Koshkin, in an interview with Izvestia, commented on the statement by the head of the Swedish military Intelligence Service, Thomas Nilsson.

Earlier in the day, the newspaper Politico published an article in which Nilsson told reporters that Sweden does not rule out an armed conflict with the Russian Federation immediately after the end or cease-fire on Ukraine. According to the official, European countries are confused about the course of the new US president Donald Trump to restore relations with Russia. Kiev, in turn, is furious.

"Apparently, the author of the statement, receiving money for his position, simply cannot say anything else. This has been professionally worked out, simply reinforced by means of information propaganda. It's just that a man in uniform says what needs to be said so that these shoulder straps are not removed from him. This is the first one," Koshkin commented.

Secondly, he noted, even the United Kingdom, which positions itself as an extension of the United States, has reduced the level of aggression, while Sweden has not, despite the fact that it joined NATO quite recently.

"This is how a person works, when he sees that he won't have to fight, he will shout belligerently. That he's invincible, that he's very aggressive and can punch his ass, but they won't let him in. These countries do the same: they understand that there will be no real war with the Russian Federation, since the United States is building a different policy, that's why they shout from behind their backs that they are strong and aggressive," the source concluded.
