- More than 16 billion rubles will be allocated for road works in the Angara region in 2025

In the Irkutsk region, more than 16 billion rubles will be allocated for reconstruction, overhaul and repair of roads and bridges in 2025. This is reported by the regional government.
"More than 16 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal, regional and local budgets for the new national project "Infrastructure for Life", which is the successor to the national project "Safe, high—quality Roads," the report says.
Work will take place on 80 sections of highways and 11 bridges. Bridges and 60 sections of roads will be repaired by the end of the year, and work will continue on 20 sections in the following years. The total length of the repaired facilities is about 300 km.
As specified by IA IrkutskMedia, 50 road sections will be put in order in six major cities of the region according to the national project. There are 33 of them in Irkutsk, six in Angarsk, three in Usolye-Sibirskoye, Cheremkhovo and Shelekhov, and two in Bratsk.
It is also planned to complete work on two large transitional facilities — overpasses this year at the Battery station in Irkutsk and in the village of Meget in Angarsk.
Earlier it was reported that in Irkutsk in 2025 they plan to renovate Norilskaya Street. The road surface will be renewed along the 800-meter stretch, sidewalks will be equipped and curbs will be replaced.
