Oil fountain hits Tuimazinskoye field

In Bashkiria, on March 3, 1945, a fountain with a daily volume of 100 tons struck from well No. 25 of the Tuimazinskoye field. About this the Izvestia newspaper reports, referring to a conversation between Comrade Kuvykin, the managing director of Bashneft, and TASS.

There were exactly 67 days left before the Great Victory

"Well No. 25 is the fourth in the Tuimazaneft trust. Previous wells that produced powerful fountains retain high volumes. We have set a goal to increase the daily production of the trust by 9-10 times by the end of this year compared to the beginning of last year. A broad program of exploration and production drilling is planned," the newspaper said in a March 4, 1945, article.
