Putin to hold talks with Myanmar's Prime Minister


Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Myanmar Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to Russia. This was announced on February 28 by the Kremlin's press service.
The leaders' meeting is scheduled for March 4.
"Prospects for further development of mutually beneficial Russian-Myanmar cooperation, as well as current international issues, will be discussed," the Kremlin stressed.
It is specified that the parties plan to "adopt a joint statement" by Russia and Myanmar on the results of the negotiations and sign intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.
Earlier, on February 23, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Myanmar href="https://iz.ru/1843655/2025-02-23/reshetnikov-obsudil-s-premerom-mianmy-torgovo-ekonomicheskoe-sotrudnichestvo " target="_blank">discussed the implementation of investment infrastructure projects within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
