The court arrested an auto blogger, Vengalbi, who tried to bribe a traffic police inspector.

Autoblogger Ahmed Aliaskhabov, better known as Ahmed Vengalbi, who was detained for attempting to bribe a traffic police officer, was sent to jail for two months. This was reported on February 28 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Dorogomilovsky District Court Moscow.

The blogger pleaded guilty, and he will remain in custody until April 27, 2025.

Aliaskhabov was detained on the evening of February 26 on Kutuzovsky Prospekt for drunk driving. According to the prosecutor's office, the blogger tried to bribe the traffic police inspector by putting 100,000 rubles between the driver's seat and the armrest of the official car, but the law enforcement officer refused the money. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.
