Serbian military personnel will take part in the Victory Day Parade dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). On February 28, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Alexander Vulin told Izvestia.

"Yes, by order of the President [of Serbia Alexander] Vucic, we will participate [in the parade]. I do not know what kind of troops, maybe the guard. We participated in the Second World War. We were the winners, and therefore it is quite natural that we will take part in the military parade," he said.In addition, Vulin expressed confidence that the leaders of the two countries Vladimir Putin and Vucic will meet on this day in Moscow.

On January 15, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced that the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory military units invited 19 friendly states, 10 of them have already confirmed their participation.
