- Serbian Deputy Prime Minister comments on the possibility of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine

Serbia is too small a state to send peacekeepers to Ukraine. This was stated on February 28 by Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Alexander Vulin to Izvestia.
According to him, such a decision can be made only after the approval of the UN Security Council.
"We will never do such a thing without the prior consent of all parties, without the UN and others. We are too small, there are candidates much better than us," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Earlier in the day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov I met with Vulin in Moscow to discuss strengthening the strategic partnership between Russia and Serbia. Representatives of the two countries exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda.
Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said during a meeting with Vulin on February 17 that the Russian side href="https://iz.ru/1840722/2025-02-17/shoigu-poobeshchal-serbii-podderzhku-v-sokhranenii-stabilnosti"> I am ready to continue to support the brotherly people of Serbia in the interests of maintaining stability in the country.
