Russian President Vladimir Putin received Irkutsk Region Governor Igor Kobzev in the Kremlin on Friday, February 28, according to site The Kremlin.

"The governor reported to the president on the results of the socio-economic development of the region, including the reconstruction of the flood—stricken city of Tulun in 2019," the presidential press service said in a statement.

In addition, Putin and Kobzev discussed preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as assistance to participants in the special operation drag Donbass and their families.
