Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued 170 fishermen from an ice floe drifting in the Sea of Okhotsk. The agency announced this on February 28.

"170 people were rescued from the ice. People are brought ashore by helicopter and watercraft. Fishermen are separated from the mainland by almost a kilometer of ice field," the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations says.
