Four people were injured in a massive road accident on the Kurgan–Tyumen highway

The accident occurred the night before, on February 27, on the 183rd km of the Kurgan–Tyumen highway. According to preliminary data, the 48-year-old Kia Rio driver lost control while overtaking a Gazelle. The cars collided. As a result of the massive collision, the Kia Rio driver and her 22-year-old passenger were injured, as well as the 52-year-old Kia Sportage driver and the 37-year-old Lada driver. All circumstances of the accident are being established.

In total, over the past 24 hours, 214 road accidents, resulting in 21 deaths and 282 injuries. As reported to Izvestia by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry, 16 of the dead were passengers and drivers of vehicles.
