The replacement of elevators has begun at the Khabarovsk Regional Clinical Hospital named after Sergeev. The project was initiated by Governor Dmitry Demeshin. More than 40 million rubles have been allocated from the regional budget for these purposes.

As told IA AmurMedia in the press service of the regional government, 14 elevators of the hospital can no longer cope with the growing load. Their replacement is necessary to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

The new domestic-made elevators will be more powerful and faster. They will be equipped with an access system. Trucks will be made fully automatic to increase efficiency and safety. The elevator replacement project is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

The agency notes that the multidisciplinary hospital serves patients from all over the region. It has about 1,000 beds.

In January, it was reported that the Khabarovsk perinatal center was allocated more than 257 million rubles for the renovation of medical equipment. The relevant agreement was signed by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the regional government. Federal funds will be received within the framework of the project "Protection of motherhood and childhood" of the national project "Family".
