T-Bank and UrFU decided to scale up cooperation

"Cooperation with T-Bank undoubtedly opens up new opportunities for our students — it is not only an introduction to the IT field in the classroom, but also career guidance: working with the company, students can see the full range of available specialties, get to know a potential employer and choose a field they like.", — emphasized Koksharov.
The heads of T-Bank and UrFU agree that universities and employers should work closely together: educational institutions need up-to-date expertise, equipment, and various forms of support for talented students and teachers.
According to Bliznyuk, the Central University, created on the initiative of T-Bank, is designed to show "the market and the academic community the effectiveness of the university-employer tandem and to replicate this approach."
The meeting also discussed UrFU's participation in T-Bank's initiatives to promote exact sciences, including the T=Mathematics project, which consists of a series of free educational events for schoolchildren, students, teachers, and IT specialists.
The issue of teacher support was raised. The head of T-Bank said that he was concerned about the decline in the prestige of the teaching profession. In 2023, T-Bank launched the Contribution to Generation grant competition to support school teachers of mathematics, computer science and physics from all over Russia.
In addition, the head of T-Bank, in a conversation with Viktor Koksharov, supported the initiative of the Ministry of Finance of Russia to allocate 5% of the funds saved on tax benefits received to spend on work with universities and an increase in teachers' salaries.
Every year, UrFU students participate in T-Education educational programs. In addition, the T-Bank course "Functional Logic Programming" was launched on the basis of this university.
